The West Basketball Inc Committee has been advised that several players have failed to adhere to the "WBI Exclusivity Rule".

This rule was set prior to the commencement of the league and was agreed upon by the committee and all team captains. Unfortunately,the said rule was breached midway through the season even though it was known that individual and team penalties would apply. The players identified were addressed through their team captains and were reminded of the rule. As a gesture of goodwill by the committee, no penalties were enforced at that time - only warnings were given out.

A number of players have been identified to have breached the WBI Exclusivity Rule over the past weekend. Each player will serve a two (2) game suspension starting the last game of the regular season and during the semis.

WBI will be suspending:
2 players from Falcons
1 player from SuperFriends
1 player from Challengers


Players who do not breach the rule again will be eligible to play at the FINALS / 3rd place game. That being said, players who continue to breach the rule will be ineligible for the final game of the season.
